About me

My Background

My name is Sadaf Amin and i was born and raised in Pakistan. In 2014, I have completed my M.B.B.S degree from Pakistan. After my graduation, I worked in Civil hospital Hyderabad for 1 year as a trainee doctor. As a doctor I always realize that I should take my every patient as my responsibility and its my duty that I always give best care, moral support and treatment to them. In 2016, I moved to Canada. Recently I have completed my 1 year certificate program in health studies from Ryerson University including courses in quantitative research, bio-statistics and epidemiology . Currently, I am doing Masters in health studies from Athabasca University, to learn more professional skills  to improve my inter-professional collaboration and to gain more knowledge in field of health.  After completing my Masters program in Heath studies, I would like to go in a field of teaching and research work or may pursue PhD.

If I talk about my personal life, I live in Waterloo with my husband and we are blessed with 2 years old cute triplets. Usually I am always busy with my kids and my studies, but whenever I get spare time I love to spend it with my husband.

I love to travel and discover new places. Recently we have visited Niagara falls and Hamilton falls with our kids.

I am always very interested in reading new articles related to medical field, specially articles related to new treatment methods and techniques for diseases which are considered "silent killers" like Malignant cancers and Hypertension.

I have created this eportfolio for my (MSHT601) course and to show my education and skills and professional growth.
